Infineon Technologies EVAL_PMG1_B1_DRP Kit
Infineon Technologies EVAL_PMG1_B1_DRP Kit is designed for the EZ-PD™ PMG1-B1 USB Power Delivery (PD) Microcontroller (MCU) with an integrated buck-boost battery charger. The EZ-PD PMG1-B1 is intended for battery-powered applications that sink or source power through a USB Type-C™ port and require an MCU to apply product features. The supported applications include cordless power tool chargers, wireless speakers, and portable electronics.The Infineon EVAL_PMG1_B1_DRP Kit can be utilized to sink up to 100W (20V @ 5A) and source up to 27W (9V @ 3A). Additionally, the kit can be employed to charge 2- to 5-cell batteries with the ability to customize the battery charging algorithm based on customer necessities.

- Electronically marked USB Type-C cable (if not already provided with the USB Type-C power adapter) for connecting the USB Type-C power adapter to the USB Type-C receptacle on the EVAL_PMG1_B1_DRP kit
- 2- to 5-cell lithium-ion battery that can be charged using EVAL_PMG1_B1_DRP kit
- Multimeter and other measurement equipment
