Texas Instruments SN74AHCT132 Quadruple 4-Input NAND Gates

Texas Instruments SN74AHCT132 Quadruple 4-Input NAND Gates perform the Boolean function Y = A • B or Y = A + B in positive logic. These devices have an operating range of 4.5V to 5.5V. Each circuit functions as a NAND gate, but because of the Schmitt action, it has different input threshold levels for positive- and negative-going signals. These circuits are temperature compensated, can be triggered from the slowest input ramps, and still give clean jitter-free output signals. The Texas Instruments SN74AHCT132 are available in various packages (SOIC-14, SSOP-14, TVSOP-14, PDIP-14, SO-14, TSSOP-14, and WQFN-14).

Features

  • Operating range of 4.5V to 5.5V
  • Low power consumption, 10µA maximum ICC
  • ±8mA output drive at 5V
  • Operation from very slow input transitions
  • Temperature-compensated threshold levels
  • High noise immunity
  • Same pinouts as SN74AHCT00
  • Latch-up performance exceeds 250mA per JESD 17

Applications

  • Enable or disable a digital signal
  • Controlling an indicator LED
  • Translation between communication modules and system controllers
