Texas Instruments Heart Rate Monitoring & Pulse Oximetry Eval Kit

Texas Instruments AFE4404EVM Heart Rate Monitoring and Pulse Oximetry Evaluation Kit contains everything the user needs to evaluate TI AFE4404 devices, such as a heart rate monitor and pulse oximeter application. These wearable devices combine two functions in one device, replacing cumbersome and heavy equipment. The accompanying sensor board contains the OSRAM SHF7050 Biomon sensor that uses advanced LED technology to take optical measurements to return heart rate and blood oxygen levels while on the go. The onboard AFE consists of a low-noise receive channel, the LED transmit section, and diagnostics for photodiode short fault detection, supporting the three OSRAM LEDs and a photodiode. The timing controller is highly configurable, and an external clock or an internal oscillator can clock the device.
