Texas Instruments bq79735-Q1 High-Voltage Battery Pack Monitor
Texas Instruments bq79735-Q1 High-Voltage Battery Pack Monitor can measure divided-down high-voltage nodes in a battery system. It can also measure the voltage across contractors, fuse, and check isolation voltage in a battery junction box (BJB) system. There are 15 GPIOs/auxiliary inputs that can be used for thermistor measurements, HV measurements, and driving relays. Four SW outputs can be used to drive MOSFET switches in the measurement path. The device can function as an SPI HUB and interface with up to eight separate SPI devices/groups. The isolated bidirectional daisy chain ports support transformer-based and capacitor isolation. The device can also communicate with MCU over UART and SPI. Typical applications for the Texas Instruments bq79735-Q1 include fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and hybrid vehicles.
