Texas Instruments AMC1311/AMC1311-Q1 Reinforced Isolated Amplifiers

Texas Instruments AMC1311/AMC1311-Q1 Precision Reinforced Isolated Amplifiers for Voltage Sensing have an isolation barrier that is highly resistant to magnetic interference due to an output separated from the input circuitry. Reinforced galvanic isolation of up to 7kVPEAK according to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577 is provided by this certified barrier. The AMC1311/AMC1311-Q1 separates parts of the system that operate on different common-mode voltage levels and protects lower-voltage parts from damage when combined with isolated power supplies.

The device offers a high-impedance input optimized for connecting to high-voltage resistive dividers or other high-output resistance voltage signal sources. Accurate, low-temperature drift voltage or temperature sensing and control in closed-loop systems are supported by the high performance of the AMC1311/AMC1311-Q1 Amplifiers.

System-level design and diagnostics are simplified due to the integrated missing high-side supply voltage detection feature. Two performance grade options are available the extended industrial temperature range specified over –55°C to +125°C for the AMC1311B and operation at –40°C to +125°C for the AMC1311. The Texas Instruments AMC1311-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
