Texas Instruments TPS25751A USB Type-C® & USB PD Controller
Texas Instruments TPS25751A USB Type-C® and USB PD Controller is a highly integrated stand-alone controller optimized for USB-C Power Delivery applications. The device supports USB Type-C PD sink and Dual Role Power applications while integrating fully managed power paths and protection features to help simplify complete USB-C PD system designs.
The TPS25751A supports USB PD 3.2, a programmable power supply, an adjustable-voltage supply, and liquid detection at the Type-C connector. The TI TPS25751A USB Type-C and USB PD Controller also provides built-in I2C control for TI battery chargers, configurable GPIOs, BC1.2 charging support, and robust CC-pin protection for applications connected to non-compliant devices.
The controller is designed for power tools, power banks, retail and payment systems, wireless speakers, cordless vacuum cleaners, personal electronics, industrial applications, home health care, personal care, and fitness devices. The TPS25751A is supported by TI’s web-based GUI, which generates configuration images to simplify USB PD application development.
