Texas Instruments TCA9406EVM I2C Translator Evaluation Module
Texas Instruments TCA9406EVM I2C Translator Evaluation Module (EVM) is used to evaluate the TCA9406 in the DCU package. The TCA9406 is a 2-bit bidirectional 1MHz, I2C bus, and SMBus voltage-level translator. The I2C buses of the TCA9406 are easily accessed via SDA_A, SCL_A, SDA_B, and SCL_B test points and are symmetrically laid out for optimal performance. All of the IC signals are available through test point connections on the evaluation module. The Texas Instruments TCA9406EVM allows the designer to load and test different capacitive loading. The user can also replace a series resistor with an inductor to emulate the parasitic inductance of cables. Parameters such as rise time, power consumption, and delay times can quickly and accurately be evaluated.Features
