Texas Instruments TAS5766MRTMEVM/TAS5766MDCAEVM Evaluation Modules
Texas Instruments TAS5766MRTMEVM/TAS5766MDCAEVM Evaluation Modules (EVMs) each allow for the evaluation of the TAS5766M and TAS5768M family of PurePath™ Smart Amp closed-loop, I2S-input amplifiers. Each evaluation module is populated with two TAS5766MRMT (TAS5766MRTMEVM) or TAS5766MDCA (TAS5766MDCAEVM) devices which allow operation from power supply voltages from 4.5V to 26.4V. When combined with a PurePath™ Console Mother Board and PurePath™ Console GUI, the user has a complete audio evaluation system at the user's fingertips that allow audio inputs from various sources to the TAS5766MRMTEVM or TAS5766MDCAEVM and a GUI to control the device and supporting circuitry.
A Speaker Characterization Board is also needed to generate the parameters required by the PurePath™ Smart Amp. The evaluation module ships with either the TAS5766MRMT or TAS5766MDCA installed. To evaluate the other version, TAS5768MRMT or TAS5768MDCA, the customer must order a sample and replace the IC on the TAS5766MRMTEVM or TAS5766MDCAEVM. A Speaker Characterization Board is also needed to generate the parameters required by the PurePath™ Smart Amp.
