Texas Instruments RES31A Thin-Film Resistor Dividers
Texas Instruments RES31A Thin-Film Resistor Dividers is a matched pair of resistive dividers, implemented in thin-film SiCr with TI's high-performance, analog CMOS process. The RES31A has a nominal input resistance of 100kΩ, supporting higher divider voltages than the RES11A but with lower current draw than the RES21A. The device is available in several nominal ratios to meet a wide array of system requirements.
The RES31A series offers high ratio-matching precision, with the measured ratio of each divider within 0.05% (±500ppm) (typical) of the nominal. The accuracy is maintained over the temperature range.
The RES31A is specified for a temperature range of –40°C to +125°C and is available in an 8‑pin SOT-23-THIN package. The device has a body size of 2.9mm × 1.6mm (body size is a nominal value and does not include pins).
Features
- -40°C to +125°C wide temperature range
- Ratio = RIN : RG, RIN = 100kQ (nominal)
- ±0.05% (maximum) highly precise ratio tolerance
- Low drift over temperature range:
- +2/-5ppm/°C max TCRratio for RES31A00 (±2ppm/°C max TCRratio from -40°C to +105°C)
- ±2ppm/°C max TCRratio for other ratios
Applications
- Precision voltage divider, precision level translation
- Amplifier gain and attenuation configuration
- Pinpoint comparator threshold setting
- Discrete difference and instrumentation amplifier implementations with high CMRR and gain accuracy
