Texas Instruments ESD2CANx-Q1 ESD Protection Diodes

Texas Instruments ESD2CANx-Q1 ESD Protection Diodes are automotive, two-channel bidirectional diodes for Controller Area Network (CAN) interface protection. These protection diodes are rated to dissipate contact ESD strikes specified in the ISO 10605 automotive standard. The ESD2CANx-Q1 ESD diodes feature a 2.8pF typical low IO capacitance per channel and a pin-out to suit two automotive CAN bus lines (CANH and CANL). These protection diodes feature a low dynamic resistance and low clamping voltage that enables system-level protection against transient events. The ESD2CANx-Q1 ESD diodes are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications and available in a 3-pin SOT-23 lead package. Typical applications include Controlled Area Network Flexible data-rate (CAN-FD), low fault-tolerant CAN, high-speed CAN, and industrial control networks.
