Texas Instruments BQ25176KEVM Evaluation Module
Texas Instruments BQ25176KEVM Evaluation Module is configured to evaluate the operation of the BQ25176K IC and LDO TPS7B8133 with support circuits required to operate the evaluation board. The BQ25176KEVM and 1-cell battery need an external 5V power supply to charge. The charge voltage, VREG, can be set to seven values using switch S1. The charge current is set by the R22 (ISET) value, which ranges from 60mA to 750mA. JP4 selects a fixed value of 400mA.
The TI LDO U2 (TPS7B8133) delivers a 3.3V for housekeeping voltage, powering the LED, and supplying voltage for CE. A 10k resistor simulates the NTC and has the option to be adjusted by a trim pot.
