Texas Instruments ADS7057 14-Bit Small-Size Low-Power SAR ADCs

Texas Instruments ADS7057 14-Bit 2.5MSPS Differential Input Small-Size Low-Power SAR ADCs support fully-differential inputs in the range of ±AVDD (2.35V to 3.6V). Additionally, the device family combines multiple resolutions, throughputs, and analog input variants, achieving excellent performance. The internal offset calibration feature sustains exceptional offset specifications over the entire AVDD and temperature operating range of –40°C to +125°C.

The CS and SCLK signals control the SPI-compatible serial interface supported by the ADS7057. The input signal is sampled with the CS falling edge, with the SCLK used for both conversion and serial data output. The wide digital supply range of 1.65V to 3.6V allows direct interfacing with an array of host controllers. A normal DVDD range of 1.65V to 1.95V enables the ADS7057 to comply with the JESD8-7A.

The 8-pin, small form factor, X2QFN package, and exceedingly-low power consumption make this device ideal for space-constrained and battery-powered applications. Furthermore, other applications that require high-speed, high-resolution data acquisition include but are not limited to I-Q Demodulators, Optical Line Cards with Modules, and Optical Encoders are suitable for the Texas Instruments ADS7057 ADCs.
