TE Connectivity's 16G 0.5mm Free Height Stacking COM Connectors are compliant with the COM Express Type 7 specification and offer a data transmission rate of up to 16GT/s. These connectors serve as the connection between next-gen CPUs and carrier boards. The Free Height (FH) connectors are an economic solution with high-speed and excellent SI performance to address the need for upgrading COM Express applications. The stacking COM connectors feature a new contact design that enables better signal integrity compared to previous generation products. These connectors are compatible with most PCIe Gen 4 applications.

The Free Height (FH) stacking COM connectors feature an improved mechanical design that can reduce mating and unmating force by 30% compared to previous generation products. These connectors feature vertical mating configuration and offer various plating options. Typical applications include COM express modules, medical devices and equipment, aerospace and defense, industrial machinery and equipment, computer equipment and peripherals, telecommunications equipment, and security products.
