Asahi Kasei Microdevices AK4498EXVQ 129dB Multi-Bit Stereo Premium Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) is a high-performance stereo DAC designed to deliver exceptional audio fidelity through advanced VELVETSOUND™ architecture. The Asahi Kasei Microdevices AK4498EXVQ DAC features a fully partitioned digital and analog design that significantly reduces digital noise interference and enhances analog signal purity. With a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of up to 129dB (up to 133dB in mono mode) and total harmonic distortion as low as -117dB, the AK4498EXVQ ensures ultra-clean audio reproduction.

This DAC supports ultra-high-resolution formats, including 64-bit/1536kHz PCM and DSD1024, especially when paired with the AK4191EQ digital filter and ΔΣ modulator. The device also incorporates Data Weighted Averaging (DWA) routing technology to minimize conversion element variation, further improving sound quality. Applications include network audio, USB DACs, CD/SACD players, and professional audio equipment.
