Schurter RTS Reflowable Thermal Switch Fuses

Schurter RTS Reflowable Thermal Switch Fuses are surface-mount fuses that protect against thermal runaway of power semiconductors. These fuses separate rated voltages up to 60VDC with an operating current up to 100A. These fuses are available with or without an integrated shunt, and galvanic separation occurs inside the RTS housing. Schurter RTS fuses provide physical protection in cases where all software-based security measures have failed. The shunt version has an integrated resistance with a very low temperature dependence. This resistance allows precise current measurement and extra circuit protection. Ideal applications include automotive, industrial, and anywhere power transistors are used.
