Infineon Technologies AIROC™ Wi-Fi® & BLUETOOTH® Evaluation Kit
Infineon Technologies AIROC™ Wi-Fi® and BLUETOOTH® Evaluation Kit (CYW9RPI55513-EVK) is an excellent tool that enables developers to evaluate, prototype, and develop various Internet of Things (IoT) and audio applications using Infineon's Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo chipsets on the Linux® platform. The kit is built around the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 Lite, helping users to assess the performance of Infineon's combo chipsets and create applications that leverage its capabilities.
The CYW9RPI55513-EVK Evaluation Kit supports Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe®) and Secure Digital Input/Output (SDIO) interfaces for Wi-Fi and HCI UART for Bluetooth, allowing the user to interface different combo chipsets to the host via the M.2 E-Key standard interface connector on the baseboard. The Raspberry Pi CM4 host is situated on the baseboard. An HDMI port, four USB Type-A connectors, a 1G Ethernet port, and an audio-out jack are also provided on the baseboard for user accessibility.
The kit includes an Ezurio Sona™ IF513 M.2 module with the CYW55513 chipset (featuring tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, and Bluetooth 5.4). The user can replace the Ezurio Sona IF513 module with any other M.2 radio module featuring Infineon's combo chipset for evaluation and development. In addition to swapping the M.2 radio module, a new image will be required to enable the new M.2 radio module.
