onsemi NCP380 Power Switch ICs

onsemi NCP380 Power Switch ICs are high-side power-distribution switches designed for applications where heavy capacitive loads and short circuits are to be encountered. These switch ICs include an integrated 55mΩ DFN package and P-channel MOSFET. The NCP380 switch ICs' internal reverse-voltage detection comparator disables the power switch if the output voltage is higher than the input voltage to protect devices. The NCP380 switch is controlled by a logic enabling input active high or low. These power switch ICs' rise and fall times are controlled to minimize current ringing during switching. The NCP380 power switch ICs with NCV Prefix are automotive AEC-Q100 qualified, PPAP capable, Pb-free devices. These power switch ICs are suitable for laptops, USB ports/hubs, and TVs.

The NCP380 switch ICs operate at 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range, 5.5V (VEN) enable voltage, and -40°C to 125°C junction temperature range. These power switch ICs feature Under-Voltage Lock-out (UVLO), built-in soft start, thermal protection, soft turn-off, and reverse voltage protection.
