NXP Semiconductors LPC24xx ARM7-based MCUs

NXP LPC24xx ARM7-based MCUs are built for connectivity, support 10/100 Ethernet, full-speed (12Mbps) USB 2.0, USB OTG, and CAN 2.0B. The NXP LPC24xx ARM7-based MCUs have up to 512KB of ISP/IAP Flash, 98KB of SRAM, an external memory interface, and an internal RC oscillator, as well as 10-bit A/D and D/A converters. This NXP device also has an SD memory-card interface on two high-speed buses to eliminate communication bandwidth bottlenecks. A 128-bit-wide memory interface and a patented memory accelerator enable 32-bit code execution from Flash with zero wait-states.

NXP's LPC2478 microcontroller is the industry's only ARM7™ Flash-based MCU offering integrated LCD support. The LPC2478 and non-Flash LPC2470 each feature two ARM® high-speed buses for the concurrent operation of multiple high-bandwidth peripherals, including LCD, 10/100 Ethernet, a USB full-speed device/host/OTG controller, and two CAN channels. The MCUs are ideal for a wide range of applications that use LCD panels and require network or Internet connectivity.
