Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVQ4583-QVE-00A Evaluation Board
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVQ4583-QVE-00A Evaluation Board is designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MPQ4583-AEC1 synchronous step-down DC/DC converter. The board supports a 4.5V to 90V input range and delivers up to 3.5A of output current. EVQ4583-QVE-00A enables evaluation of high-efficiency power conversion using integrated MOSFETs, internal compensation, and a fixed 400kHz switching frequency.
The evaluation board highlights the converter's 9μA quiescent current and selectable Power-Save Mode (PSM) or Forced Continuous Conduction Mode (FCCM) operation for optimized efficiency across varying loads. The board also provides access to advanced protection features, including over-current, short-circuit, over-voltage, and thermal protection. These capabilities make the MPS EVQ4583-QVE-00A a practical platform for developing reliable automotive and industrial power management designs.
