Mikroe MIKROE-2253 TextToSpeech click

Mikroe MIKROE-2253 TextToSpeech click is a mikroBUS™ add-on board with an Epson S1V30120 speech synthesis IC. This click board makes a robot or portable device talk in one of three languages. The languages include US English, Castilian Spanish, and Latin American Spanish, with nine voices provided. The IC is powered by the DECtalk v5 speech synthesis engine. The engine includes a parser for fine control over the quality, pitch, and intonation of the synthesized speech. The audio is reproduced at an 11.025kHz sampling rate. Mikroe MIKROE-2253 TextToSpeech click communicates using the mikroBUS SPI interface (MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS) with additional functionality provided by DRDY, NRST, and MUTE pins. To power, use either a 3.3V or 5V power supply.
