Mikroe MIKROE-3275 Magnetic Rotary Click

Mikroe MIKROE-3275 Magnetic Rotary Click is an accurate position sensing Click board™ that utilizes the HMC1512 magnetic field displacement sensor IC from Honeywell. The HMC1512 integrated sensor uses two coplanar saturated-mode Wheatstone bridges with four magneto-resistive elements per bridge. The Mikroe click board also features an MCP6022 rail-to-rail operational amplifier and an MCP3202 12-bit ADC from Microchip. This click board achieves a very high precision by implementing the proprietary Anisotropic Magneto-Resistive (AMR) technology from Honeywell.

The MIKROE-3275 click board accomplishes a precision of up to 0.05° in the angular range of ±90°, which makes it more accurate than the Hall-effect sensors. This click board includes the mikroSDK™ software and a library with all the functions. The MIKROE-3275 click board has applications in contactless position and direction sensing, precision measurement, and proximity detection.
