Mikroe MIKROE-3103 LightRanger 3 Click
Mikroe MIKROE-3103 LightRanger 3 Click is an accurate distance measurement Click board™ based on the Time of Flight (ToF) measurement principle. This device comes with the ability to precisely measure distance without making actual contact. The lightranger 3 click is rated class 1 LASER product that operates in the IR (invisible) spectrum range. This device measure distances up to 2000mm with up to 10% accuracy.
The lightranger 3 click uses the Simblee™ enabled RFD77402 ToF sensor module from RF digital. The RFD77402 sensor uses the Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting (VCSE) narrowband LASER that emits light in the range of 850nm. This RFD77402 sensor features a receiver sensor also that detects the reflected light. The lightranger 3 click finds applications in counting dimensions of goods in industry, controlling a safety area, and building contactless digital measurement tools.
