Mikroe MIKROE-2747 AnyNet 2G Click

Mikroe MIKROE-2747 AnyNet 2G Click is a cellular to AWS gateway device that provides a complete solution for IoT applications. This click board uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT and Cloud Storage services for data storage, analysis, and processing. Mikroe MIKROE-2747 click board provides a secure connection with the AWS Over The Air (OTA) by utilizing the Quectel M95 module and Eseye ES4623 embedded SIM card. This click board can be used as an AWS IoT button with minimum configuration. 

The MIKROE-2747 click board is equipped with Quectel M95 GSM/GPRS module, Eseye ES4623 embedded SIM card, and a PIC18F67J11 MCU. The cellular connection is established through the Quectel M95 2G module (also found on the GSM2 click) and the embedded ES4623 SIM card by Eseye company. The onboard Microchip MCU contains the firmware used to interface the GSM/GPRS module to UART.

IoT Button

The MIKROE-2747 AnyNet 2G Click has the IoT button feature. The AWS IoT button pin is based on the Amazon Dash Button hardware. The functionality of this pin is designed for developers to get started with AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon SNS, and other Amazon Web Services. The IoT button pin can be coded in cloud service to perform various tasks such as remote control for Netflix, a switch for Philips Hue light bulb, a check-in/check-out device for Airbnb guests, and so on.
