Microchip Technology MCP1665 Step-up Converter Evaluation Board
Microchip Technology MCP1665 Step-up Converter Evaluation Board (ADM00865) is a demonstration and development platform for the MCP1665 PFM/PWM Step-up Converter. The MCP1665 is designed to provide a space-efficient high-voltage step-up power supply solution for applications powered by batteries. The MCP1665 features a 36V, 100mΩ integrated switch, controlled start-up voltage, internal compensation, adjustable output voltage, and Pulse Frequency Modulation / Pulse Width Modulation (PFM/PWM) mode. The Undervoltage-Lockout (UVLO) feature of the converter avoids start-up and operation with low inputs or discharged batteries for cell-powered applications. The Microchip Technology MCP1665 Step-up Converter Evaluation Board features a pre-installed MCP1665 in a VQFN-10 package. The Evaluation Board provides a reference design for proper layout and choice of components that are critical to switching regulator implementations.
