M5Stack COLOR Sensor RGB Unit

M5Stack COLOR Sensor RGB Unit is a color recognition unit integrated with a TCS3472 chipset that detects color value and returns RGB data as a response. This TCS3472 chipset is integrated with a 3*4 array of filtered photodiodes and 16-bit analog-to-digital embedded converters. The color sensor unit features 12 photodiodes in which 3 have red filters, 3 have green filters, 3 have blue filters, and 3 have no filter (clear). The response from the red, green, and blue channels (RGB) can be used to determine a particular source’s chromaticity coordinates (x, y). This color unit operates at -40°C to 85°C temperature range. Typical applications include product color verification and color tracking robot.
