Infineon Technologies XMC5000 Low Power and Industrial Microcontrollers feature a 160MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4F, a memory spectrum up to 2MB of flash, SRAM of up to 256KB, and an Arm Cortex-M0+ dedicated to cryptography. The XMC5000 MCU supports an input supply range of 2.7V to 5.5V, scalable packaging up to 144-pins, and low-power modes. With XMC7000 scalability and ModusToolbox support, the XMC5000 delivers robustness in harsh environments and advanced security and safety features.
The Infineon XMC5000 family of microcontrollers provides scalable, high-performance solutions for industrial and home appliance applications. Powered by Arm Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M0+ cores, it includes three models: XMC5100, XMC5200, and XMC5300, each suited to specific needs:
• XMC5100: 80MHz Cortex-M4, ideal for cost-sensitive applications like motor control, HVAC, and lighting.
Features up to 4-ch CAN FD, 512KB Flash, 64KB SRAM, and packaging from 64-pin to 100-pin LQFP.
• XMC5200: 160MHz Cortex-M4 for mid-range applications needing more I/O. Offers 6-ch CAN FD, 1MB Flash, and 128KB SRAM.
• XMC5300: High-end 160MHz Cortex-M4 for complex systems like gateways. Features 8-ch CAN FD, 2MB Flash, 256KB SRAM, and CXPI.
