Infineon Technologies TLE9278BQXV33 Multi-CAN System Basis Chip offers a high level of integration at a small footprint for all automotive applications requiring multiple channels of CAN transceivers. These CAN transceivers include gateways and high-end Body Control Modules (BCM). The device is controlled and monitored via a 16-bit Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). Additional DC/DC boost converter supports conditions or applications at low input supply voltages. High-efficient Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) buck regulator features an external 3.3V output voltage up to 750mA. The TLE9278BQXV33 Multi-CAN System Basis Chip offers low-power modes to support applications that are connected permanently to the battery. This TLE9278BQXV33 system basis chip features reset output to ensure stable supply to the MCU and a dedicated pin for I/O voltage supply selection. The TLE9278BQXV33 operates at 30μA quiescent current and 3.3V voltage regulator output. This TLE9278BQXV33 system basis chip is ideally used in gateways, body control modules, and driver assistance.The TLE9278BQXV33 is offered in a very small footprint, exposed pad PG-VQFN-48 (7 x 7mm2) power package. Via LIN/CAN bus, via the bi-level sensitive monitoring/wake-up input as well as via the timer a wake-up from the low-power mode is possible.
