Industrial Shields GPRS/GSM PLCs
Industrial Shields GPRS/GSM Programmable Logic Controllers are based on Arduino technology and designed for professional use. The GPRS/GSM PLCs offer several communication ports providing more flexibility and control. The GPRS/GSM family offers the possibility to expand up to 127 modules through I2C. This feature allows up to 7100 inputs/outputs in master-slave connections and additionally to sensors.
The Industrial Shields GPRS/GSM Programmable Logic Controllers are ideal for remote monitoring, data logging and remote access, diagnostics and control using short text messages (SMS). Messages can be adjusted to send from a device with static (text) or dynamic (text and values) content. This feature is an excellent solution for sending important information to the monitoring center. SMS message sending can be triggered by a change of binary input state, reaching alarm thresholds, marker state change, counters, and clocks.
