FTDI Chip DB9 USB to Digital Modules

FTDI DB9 USB to Digital Modules provide a simple and fast method of migrating existing DB9 based connector UART interfaces to USB 2.0. In some cases, the DB9 USB to Digital Modules can reduce system costs by removing an RS232 level shifter from a design. The DB9 USB to digital modules feature a USB 2.0 mini-B connector within a module that fits a standard 9-pin DB9 connector footprint. The DB9 USB to digital modules are ideal for legacy applications which feature UART DB9 based connectors. These modules provide a method of extending the life-cycle of these products by converting them to USB 2.0 connectivity, with minimal redesign.
