Fluke T6 Electrical Testers
Fluke T6 Electrical Testers measure AC voltage, current, and frequency without making electrical contact to live voltage. The instrument uses a horseshoe-shaped, 17.8mm jaw opening to test wires up to AWG 4/0 (120mm2) without opening covers or removing wire nuts. After getting a reading, users press the HOLD button to freeze the results and interpret the easy-to-read, backlit display.
The T6 series consists of two models: The T6-600 and T6-1000 measure up to 600VAC and 1000VDC, respectively. The testers measure resistances of 1Ω to 100kΩ (T6-1000) and 1Ω to 2kΩ (T6-600). Both models measure AC Current up to 200A, while the T6-1000 can measure frequencies between 45 and 66Hz.
The T6-1000 can be purchased in a bundle with the PRV240FS Proving Unit.
The Fluke electrical testers can operate at up to 2000m (6562ft) and in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C. These electrical testers are packaged with attached test leads with removable 4mm probe caps and require two AA batteries to work for 360 hours of continuous use.
