KrakenRF Discovery Dish
KrakenRF Discovery Dish and Accessories is a 65cm aluminum satellite dish with an active filtered feed designed for receiving real-time weather data. This dish receives data from GOES HRIT, GK-2A LRIT, FengYun LRIT, NOAA HRPT, Metop HRPT, Meteor M2 HRPT, and other weather satellites that operate around 1.69GHz. The 1.69GHz feed contains a built-in LNA and filters, which means there is almost no noise figure loss from cables or connectors. The dish is designed to weigh under one kilogram and split into three petals. This discovery dish incorporates the Qorvo QPL9547 high-linearity and ultra-low-noise amplifier in a small 2mm x 2mm surface-mount package.

DISCOVERY-ENCLOSURE-01
The Discovery enclosure-01 is a die-cast aluminum enclosure for housing electronics that is compatible with the Discovery dish. This enclosure mounts to a pole with a diameter between 20mm and 45mm. The enclosure comes with 304mm x 184mm x 60mm inner volume. The enclosure consists of a custom plate that provides a grid of mount points for various devices to be housed inside. The coaxial cable from a Discovery Dish can be routed through one of the holes on the bottom of the enclosure. This enclosure hinged door features an IP65-rated silicone seal, though the final IP rating depends on the kind of cable gland used on the bottom port.
DISCOVERY-H-LINE-FEED-01
The Hydrogen Line (H-Line) feed-01 enclosure features 1.42GHz active and filtered feed in a waterproof enclosure for hydrogen line radio astronomy observations. This H-Line enclosure includes the feed arm, which fits into a Discovery Dish and six meters of LMR240-equivalent coaxial cable.
DISCOVERY-INMARSAT-FEED-01
The Insmart feed-01 enclosure features 1.525GHz to 1.660GHz active and filtered feed in a waterproof enclosure for receiving Inmarsat satellite signals like STD-C and AERO. This Insmart enclosure includes the feed arm, which fits into a Discovery Dish and six meters of LMR240-equivalent coaxial cable.
DISCOVERY-L-BAND-FEED-01
The L-Band feed-01 weather satellite features a 1.69GHz active frequency and filtered feed in a waterproof enclosure. This L-Band feed is designed for receiving data from GOES HRIT, GK2A/FengYun LRIT, and polar-orbiting HRPT satellites. This L-Band weather satellite feed includes the feed arm, which fits into a Discovery Dish and six meters of LMR240-equivalent coaxial cable.
DISCOVERY-S-BAND-FEED-01
The SBAND1-FEED-01 is a 70-cm aluminium satellite dish with an active filtered feed. This dish is designed to weigh under one kilogram and splits into three petals, making it easier to ship worldwide. The feed electronics are encased in a waterproof enclosure, meaning no external waterproofing work is required.
