Diodes Incorporated DPO2036 Dataline Over Voltage Protection Switch
Diodes Inc DPO2036 Dataline Over Voltage Protection (OVP) Switch provides 4 protection channels for the CC1/CC2 and SBU1/SBU2 pins connected to the USB Type-C® connector. One pair of channels protects the CC1/CC2 pins against shortening to the VBUS, whereas another pair protects the SBU1/SBU2 pins from being shorted to the VBUS. This surge suppressor switch is designed to draw its operating voltage primarily from VVSYS system power (always-ON 3.3V/5V) or the 1-cell battery inside the mobile system. The DPO2036 OVP switch supports the dead battery mode by having both of the CC1C and CC2C pins tied to the pull-down resistor RD embedded in the device. This device comes housed in the low-profile and space-saving UQFN2020-12 (Type B) package that is manufactured with environmental-friendly material. Typical applications include notebooks/desktops, tablets/mobile phones, AR/VR headsets, FPTVs, docking stations, set-top-boxes, and residential gateways.Features
