Broadcom AS33-M42M Absolute Encoder Modules
Broadcom AS33-M42M Absolute Encoder Modules are 18-bit Single-Turn (ST) absolute magnetic encoders with a 24-bit energy harvesting Multi-Turn (MT) counter. These modules feature state-of-the-art energy harvesting MT technology and angular magnetic hall sensing with sophisticated signal conditioning algorithms. A single magnetic solution generates both ST and MT positions, improving overall feedback system integrity and simplicity. The energy harvesting MT technology converts the rotating magnetic field into electrical energy, which powers the revolution tracking circuit. The AS33-M42M modules have a built-in communication protocol supported by a full-duplex or half-duplex line transmission drive. This offers good noise immunity for robust data transmission up to 10Mb/s. These encoder modules are also robust against contamination, such as dust and fingerprints on the sensing element. The AS33-M42M absolute encoder modules are ideal for use in small motors, linear actuators, robotic automation and engineering, drones, DC and AC servo motors, and test and measurement equipment.Features
