Analog Devices Inc. LTC2959 Battery Gas Gauge
Analog Devices Inc. LTC2959 Battery Gas Gauge is a precise ultra-power battery gauge to measure charge, voltage, current, and temperature. This gas gauge offers a 1.8V to 60V input voltage range and a low operating current of less than 1µA. The LTC2959 measures 0V to 60V sense voltage for low-side or high-side sensing. This battery gauge exhibits 1% voltage, current, and charge accuracy and requires no crystal or other time reference. The LTC2959 gas gauge features programmable high and low thresholds and min/mix tracking registers. This battery gauge includes an auxiliary 16-bit ADC input for sensor readout, I2C/SMBus interface, and is available in a small 10-lead 3mm×2mm DFN package. The typical application of the LTC2959 gauge includes remote sensors, energy harvesting systems, low-power handheld products, and power tools.
