Analog Devices Inc. ADMV1550 Double Balanced Mixer

Analog Devices ADMV1550 Double Balanced Mixer is offered in a leadless, RoHS-compliant, surface-mount technology (SMT) package that facilitates as an upconverter or downconverter between 15GHz and 65GHz. The ADMV1550 general-purpose, double-balanced mixer provides a wide bandwidth from DC to 20GHz on the intermediate frequency (IF) port, allowing flexible frequency planning to avoid imitation products.

The Analog Devices ADMV1550 mixer is manufactured using a gallium arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) method, and it needs no external components or matching circuitry. Due to optimized balun structures, the ADMV1550 provides excellent local oscillator (LO) to RF and LO to IF suppression. The mixer operates with a typical LO amplitude of 15dBm. The RoHS-compliant ADMV1550 eliminates the requirement for wire bonding, permitting the use of surface-mount manufacturing techniques.

The ADMV1550 is housed in a compact 4mm x 4mm, 18-terminal land grid array (LGA) package and performs over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
