Allegro MicroSystems Magnetic Speed Sensor ICs offer a comprehensive portfolio covering the full range of speed and speed with direction sensor ICs. These products include a two- and three-wire interface, a magnetic encoder (ring magnet) and gear tooth sensing, Hall and GMR technology, and ASIL-compliant options for transmission, wheel speed, engine, e-motors, and many more encoder and gear tooth sensing applications.

Magnetic Switch & Latch ICs

Allegro MicroSystems Magnetic Switch and Latch ICs provide excellent jitter performance for optimized motor control. The magnetic switch and latch ICs feature vertical hall technology and survive the harshest automotive voltage transients. Furthermore, the switches and latches are developed to ISO 26262 standards.

ATS128LSE Sensor IC

Allegro MicroSystems ATS128LSE Sensor IC is a programmable, True Power-On State (TPOS) that is an optimized combination of a hall-effect IC and a rare-earth pellet. This switch responds to magnetic signals created by ferromagnetic targets in gear-tooth sensing and proximity sensing applications. The ATS128LSE sensor IC is externally programmable and offers a wide programming range for the magnetic operating point, B_OP. The fixed hysteresis sets the magnetic release point, BRP, based on the selected B_OP. This device is offered in a 4-pin SIP and is lead (Pb) free, with 100% matte tin leadframe plating. The ATS128LE IC is ideal for use in gathering speed or position information using gear-tooth-based configurations, or for proximity sensing with ferromagnetic targets.
