Allegro MicroSystems Stepper Motor Drivers deliver quiet, efficient, smooth motion to minimize noise and vibration in stepper motor designs. The QuietStep™ adaptive stepper motor drivers utilize proprietary algorithms to reduce torque ripple and current distortion. To minimize ripple current for various operating conditions, these adaptive devices perform on-the-fly adjustments to the amount of fast decay during a pulse-width modulation (PWM) cycle. This adaptive feature boosts system performance, increases step accuracy, and lowers audible motor noise and vibration.
