Analog Devices Inc. ADuM320N/ADuM321N Dual Digital Isolators are dual-channel devices based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high-speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics and meet CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at 5Mbps. The maximum propagation delay is 10ns with a pulse width distortion of less than 3ns at 5V operation. Channel matching is hard at 3.0ns maximum. Data channels are independent and available in various configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.7kVRMS and 3.0kVRMS. The devices operate with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.25V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems and enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. Two different fail-safe options are available by which the outputs transition to a predetermined state when the input power supply is not applied.
