DC/DC Isolation Magnetic Transformers

HALO Electronics DC/DC Transformers are available in a vast array of toroidal and bobbin wound DC/DC converter transformers for most leading DC/DC converter controller ICs. Toroidal transformer products for Push/Pull and H Bridge topologies are available for 0.5W to 13W applications. Bobbin wound transformers are available in power ratings from 3W to 90W for applications such as POE and high power POE+. Most products are available in Functional, Basic, Supplemental, or Reinforced insulation to meet the most stringent safety requirements. All products are UL/EN60950 recognized. Functional and Reinforced insulation products are also DEMKO recognized.

Fully Isolated Transceiver Solutions for RS-485

Maxim Integrated and HALO Electronics partner to offer fully isolated transceiver solutions for RS-485/Profibus high speed industrial applications. Maxim RS-485/Profibus half-duplex DP transceivers provide galvanic isolation (2750V or 5000V), improving communications by breaking ground loops. This reduces noise caused by large differences in ground potential between ports.
