The series offers an ultra-high insulation test voltage of 4500V_AC for their size. With up to 40% lower leakage inductance, these transformers ensure excellent magnetic coupling for precise data transmission. Würth Elektronik WE-PLC transformers are ideal for applications requiring the insulation of data signals ranging from 500kHz to 30MHz, such as public electric vehicle (EV) charging systems and wall boxes.

MID-PLC Narrowband Coupling Transformers

Würth Elektronik Midcom MID-PLC Narrowband Coupling Transformers provide up to 5000VAC isolation voltage, functional or reinforced insulation, and -40°C to 125°C operating temperature range. These coupling transformers are designed for narrowband power line communications, including Texas Instruments AFE030 / AFE031 / AFE032 or for STMicroelectronics STCOM / STCOMET / ST75xx PLC ICs. Other features include powerline communications analog front-end, lead free, and RoHS compliant. Würth Midcom MID-PLC Narrowband Coupling Transformers are ideal for PLC modems and data concentrators, smart metering, smart grids, Internet of Things (IoT), smart energy management, street lighting control, and home / building automation.
