A6214 & A6216 Auto PWM Dimmable LED Drivers

Allegro MicroSystems A6214 and A6216 Auto PWM Dimmable LED Drivers are AEC-Q101 qualified and offer a 4.5V to 55V supply voltage range with an integrated MOSFET switch. The A6214 is a single-IC switching regulator that provides constant-current output to drive high-power LEDs and integrates a high-side N-channel DMOS switch for DC-to-DC step-down (buck) conversion. The output voltage is automatically adjusted to drive various numbers of LEDs in a single string, ensuring optimal system efficiency. The LED dimming is achieved by direct logic input pulse-width-modulation (PWM) signal at the Enable pin. The A6216 has the added capability to generate its own PWM dimming frequency and duty cycle in stand-alone mode. Allegro MicroSystems A6214 and A6216 Auto PWM Dimmable LED Drivers are suitable for automotive lighting applications, including daytime running lights, map lights, and dimmable interior lights.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
