LAN826x Optical Ethernet PHY Transceivers

Microchip Technology LAN826x Optical Ethernet PHY Transceivers address the need for reliable and secure connectivity in advanced networking systems that operate over long distances and in challenging environments. These 10Gbps transceivers provide a scalable alternative to traditional copper-based Ethernet solutions, supporting link lengths of up to 10km over single-mode fiber for seamless deployments over dispersed infrastructure. The compact modules include dual- and quad-port variants with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) frame preemption and integrated cross-connect features. The LAN826x transceivers operate in an extended temperature range of -40°C to +110°C and are designed with a 256-ball HFC-BGA package, measuring 14mm x 14mm.
