MAX77975 & MAX77976 1-Cell Li+ Battery Chargers

Analog Devices MAX77975 and MAX77976 1-Cell Li+ Battery Chargers are high-performance high-input 3.5A/5.5A fast chargers with Smart Power Selector™. These ICs can operate as a reverse boost without an additional inductor, allowing the battery to share its power through the charging port, and is voltage programmable from 5V to 12V. These devices feature fully integrated low-loss power switches to provide small solution size and high efficiency, even at high input voltage and high charging current. Its high switching frequency allows the use of a smaller-sized inductor. The MAX77975 and MAX77976 feature true load disconnection in reverse boost mode and have an adjustable output current protection limit. These devices are highly flexible and programmable through I²C configuration.
