KTS1691 VBUS Over-Voltage Protection Load Switches

Kinetic Technologies KTS1691 V_BUS Over-Voltage Protection Load Switches are designed for USB Type-C™ PD ports and barrel connectors. The Kinetic Technologies KTS1691 switches support up to 140W at 20V and withstand up to 29V on V_BUS. It features soft-start to limit inrush current, over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature protection, and reverse-current blocking. The KTS1691A/B models include automatic reverse-current blocking, functioning as an "ideal diode" to isolate V_BUS when charging or powering the system through another port. The KTS1691C/D models support bi-directional operation during startup. An ACOK flag indicates when power is stable. Packaged in a 2.86mm x 1.68mm, 15-bump, fully Green-compliant Wafer-Level Chip-Scale Package (WLCSP), the KTS1691 ensures advanced system protection.
