ADT7311 Digital SPI Temperature Sensors

Analog Devices ADT7311 Digital SPI Temperature Sensors are high accuracy digital temperature sensors in a narrow 8-lead SOIC package. The ADT7311 includes a bandgap temperature reference and a 16-bit ADC to monitor and digitize the temperature to a 0.0078°C resolution. A serial interface allows the designer to program the ADC resolution. The ADT7311 Digital SPI Temperature Sensors are guaranteed to operate over supply voltages of 2.7V to 5.5V. Operating at 3.3V, ADT7311’s average supply current is typically 210μA. The shutdown mode offers a 2μA (typical) shutdown current. Qualified for automotive applications, the ADT7311 sensor is rated for operation in the -40°C to +150°C temperature range.
