PROFET™ Smart High-Side Switches

Infineon PROFET™ Smart High-Side Switches are placed between the supply and load to control the application. These highly integrated high-side switches incorporate a broad range of smart features like diagnosis and protection. PROFET switches consist of a DMOS power transistor and CMOS logic circuitry for complete built-in protection against overload, short-circuit, excessive temperature, ground loss, power supply loss, and electrostatic discharge (ESD).

BTS50010-1TAE Smart High-Side Switch

Infineon Technologies BTS50010-1TAE Smart High-Side Switch is designed to drive currents up to 40A DC in 12V systems. The BTS50010-1TAE features an R_DS(ON) down to 1.0mΩ, and is housed in a D2PAK (PG-TO263-7). The device has benchmark energy robustness and an inrush current capability of up to 250A that supports motorcycle and scooter requirements for starters. BTS50010-1TAE addresses automotive, industrial, and consumer applications like lawnmowers, chainsaws, and any load with harsh switching demands.
