Murata Electronics offers a wide range of power solutions for Power over Ethernet (PoE). These products are designed for both Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and Powered Devices (PD). Both 12V_DC/24V_DC input and AC input power supplies are available for PSE applications. For PD applications, IEEE 802.3af- and IEEE 802.3at-compliant DC-DC supplies are available with compliance to CISPR Class B Conducted EMI.

Solutions for Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE)

Murata Electronics Solutions for Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) are specially designed for PSE applications. Both 12V_DC/24V_DC input and AC input power supplies are available for PSE applications. The power supplies offer output power of 250W to 650W while the DC-DC converters offer output power of 30W to 240W.

MYBSS054R6EBF Isolated DC-DC Converter for PoE PSE

Murata MYBSS054R6EBF Isolated DC-DC Converter for PoE PSE is designed to deliver isolated 54V at 0.56A (30W) for Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) in Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. This compact SMT module has an input range from 10.8V_DC to 27V_DC. The MYBSS054R6EBF is designed to deliver power to Ethernet devices over traditional Cat 5 network cables in accordance with IEEE 802.3 PoE requirements. This unique PoE source module is designed to operate in applications that support 12V/24V nominal power sources, converting to 54V at 30W with 90% efficiency. The module provides PoE safety requirements, including input-to-output isolation at 2250V_DC with basic insulation and overvoltage protection that meets SELV requirements. The total PCB board space required is 35mm x 22.4mm.
