EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs

Infineon EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs are designed for MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs, and GaN HEMTs devices. EiceDRIVER™ gate drivers provide a wide range of typical output current options, from 0.1A up to 10A. These devices have robust gate drive protection features such as fast short-circuit protection (DESAT), active Miller clamp, shoot-through protection, fault, shutdown, and over current protection. These features make these driver ICs well-suited for both silicon and wide-bandgap power devices, including CoolGaN™, and CoolSiC™. That’s why Infineon offers more than 500 EiceDRIVER™ gate driver IC solutions suitable for any power switch, and any application.

1ED44173N01B Non-Inverting Gate Driver

Infineon 1ED44173N01B Non-Inverting Gate Driver is a low-voltage, power MOSFET non-inverting gate driver with overcurrent protection (OCP). Proprietary latch-immune CMOS technologies enable ruggedized monolithic construction. The logic input is compatible with standard CMOS or LSTTL output. The output driver features a current buffer stage. The Infineon 1ED44173N01B has an OCP pin for over-current protection sense and a FAULT status output (once it is active, the EN/FLT pin is internally pulled down). The EN/FLT needs to be outside and pulled up to provide normal operation, pulling EN/FLT low disable the driver. Internal circuitry on the VCC pin provides under-voltage lockout protection that holds output low until the VCC supply voltage is within the operating range.
