This integration, combined with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS), allows businesses to be fully optimized for continuous operation, virtually eliminating power interruptions and business downtime. Networks that support new and emerging Ethernet devices with varying power requirements must provide compatibility, expandability, and flexibility. The power-on-demand midspan technology is an effective and practical solution to these challenges. These PoE midspans deliver power to VoIP phones, wireless LAN access points, remote IP security cameras, access control devices, RFID readers, and motion detectors. Single-port extenders are available, extending power and data up to 200m from a network switch.

POEUSB20 & POEUSB60 PoE-to-USB Type-C™ Converters

Phihong POEUSB20 and POEUSB60 Power over Ethernet (PoE)-to-USB Type-C™ Converters are 20W and 60W output power devices that work with IEEE802.3at- and IEEE802.3bt-compliant power-sourcing equipment. Phihong POEUSB20 and POEUSB60 feature USB-C power delivery and a USB-C receptacle. The devices provide 10Mbps/100Mbps/1000Mbps data input speed and short-circuit, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection.
