ISL681x Digital Multiphase PWM Controllers

Renesas Electronics ISL681x Digital Multiphase PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) Controllers offer robust fault management, highly accurate regulation capability, and require minimal external components, simplifying the implementation of high-performance multiphase regulators. These devices provide up to seven phases that are assignable in any combination across two outputs. Renesas Electronics controllers combine with Smart Power Stages, like the ISL99227, to provide a scalable solution from 10A to 450A. The result is enhanced power optimization and more energy-efficient networking and communications infrastructure equipment. The SL681x PWM Controllers utilize a proprietary linear synthetic digital current modulation scheme to achieve excellent transient response and ease of tuning while addressing the challenges of modern multiphase designs.

Wireline Infrastructure Computing

Renesas Electronics Wireline Infrastructure Computing features timing and power solutions that reduce component count and logistics for applications such as 10G-400G Ethernet switches, enterprise cores, and edge routers. This solution also can be used for optical transport networks, packet transport networks, and access network equipment. With demanding power and performance requirements, wireline infrastructure computing elements are placing increasingly difficult demands on power and timing solutions. The combination of high performance and specialized timing, along with a broad portfolio of power products, addresses the needs of these modern systems.
